Smell the Air!

Oh my goodness…we have started Christmas in August. Our amazing “super sized” clients have placed their holiday orders and we are makin’ the chocolate around the clock. Every morning I walk in and the air is filled with the aroma of melting chocolate and roasting almonds and everything else we have planned for the day. I think my very favorite “smell the air” day is when we are making All Butter Chess Pies or the Salted Carmel Gooey Butter Bars. That smell of sugar, butter and pastry baking is so soothing. Especially when you consider the fact that our oven holds 90 pies all at once. Intense and glorious. Come smell the air at our little factory.
